Pennsylvania Shoot in May!!

Who's up for a Pennsylvania shoot on May 4th???????? The 500yd rifle range is now open

Since the range is open until 9am-7pm, lets make this a Rifle,Pistol, and Shotgun gathering. Why don't we hit the Sporting clays field at 1pm? The rest of the time we can shoot rifle and pistol.

It will be held as usual at "Water and Wings" just outside of Quakertown PA. Anyone that needs directions PM me or Email me. Let's hit the Pizza place we ate at last time too.

Fall in...........................

Congrats on 2500 posts!
I will be at a SG class the weekend before. If I can still move my arms, I will try to make the shoot. I will verify my schedule tomorrow.

Any chance we could put it off till the end of the month instead? Also I will takl to Joe about having a TFL event at his range (Wicens Farm, Mozart road in Furlong PA just off of Swamp Road)
ANYBODY FROM TFL WHO WANT TO CAN COME TO THE NOREASTER WEEKEND. WE HAVE CAMPING ONSITE. FOOD & DRINK AND A CAMPFIRE NIGHTLY. ITS A GREAT WEEKEND. AS YOU MAY NOTICE THE FOCUS IS ON SIXGUNS OF ALL TYPES SA/DA AS WELL AS LEVER ACTION RIFLES AND SINGLE SHOTS. A GREAT TIME IS HAD BY ALL.
MATCHES INCLUDE LONG RANGE SIXGUN MATCH AND REVOLVER ART 100 YARDS RANGE. MOST HITS WINS.
WE MOSTLY SHOOT AT STEEL ALA COWBOY ACTION MATCHES AND RTHE FIRING LINE IS SET AT 50 YARDS FOR MOST OF THE TIME.
WE ARE HOPING TO HAVE A 50 YARD SNUBBIE MATCH(ANY SIXGUN 3" BARREL OR LESS AT 50 YARDS) AND A MAN ON MAN AS WELL.

That weekend (May 4) is good for me. How about we shoot Sat and replenish supplies on Sunday?
Isn't there a big show in Harrisburg during the last weekend in April, 27-28?
I will be at COMTAC 4/27 & 28 and I thought I saw that there was a show up there over the same weekend.

We would have to compete with Mothers Day and Memorial Day weekend. I don't know if people are going to pick a TFL shoot over a Family BQ.

Not again....

The last PA shoot I was scheduled for other things(hey, when you've spent the money, you go).

This time, our much delayed "Honeymoon"(when we first married, we bought a house instead of sunnin island style) starts on 4-29/02 and runs to 5-6/02. Sandals Resorts in Jamaica!

Don't even think about a reschedule on the "honeymoon"! I'll let you try to pass that one by the better half!

Well, I guess there's allways next time!

Hmmm, Walther P22, Sig P229(.357Sig), S&W 1066, Bersa Thunder380 Deluxe, Bersa Thunder22, Ruger KP94, Ruger MkII 512, Taurus PT58, Taurus 94, CZ40B, Beretta 8045,... a heck, I'll stop there as I won't be able to use the toys that weekend anyway!

Everyone have a good time... I know I will!

Later in the month is bad timing.

Here is the address of the Gun Club

9173 Janes Lane
East Greenville PA 18041

You can use Map Quest to find the best way for you. It would be faster if you took the turnpike compared to 309. Once you head North on the Northeast Extension you get off at exit 32 Quaketown. Go threw the toll booth and make a right onto 663. Go to the next traffic light and then one more. At that second light make a right and drive for about 1 mile until you see a big rock with "Water and Wings" engraved on it. Take the small road to the right "Janes Lane" and you will see a Barn looking building off to your right THAT IS IT!!
If you want My Cell phone number I can give it to you incase you get lost.

I'm with Geoff and Ray I vote Saturday the 4th

Don't forget your Shotguns if you got 'em.

I'll see if we can take some of the tables down and shoot off the ground. I'm getting a little tired of the table stuff.

Does anyone have a Black Powder rifle?

All I'm bringing is the FAL,Model 70, and the 10/22.

Soda,
There was nobody using the five-stand when we were there last weekend. Do you know if they might let us hand toss some clays there?

I doubt it.

Dead and I stole a whole bunch of Clays from the field around the 5 stand. Then we shot them up with My 10/22 and his SARII.

SodaPop... thanks for the PM! I will be there on the 4th. I'll bring the shotgun but I have not used it much. Lets just say those clays won't break until they hit the ground when I am up to bat.
