Can anyone tell me of a good source and pricing for good quality 20 round mags for the Springfield Armory type FN/FAL.

I just bought some israeli 20rd mags from what a country http://www.whatacountry.com/ . They are brand new for 12.95/mag and look great. I also bought some of the 10$ DSA used mags but while functional the finish is pretty poor and some have dents. The FAL files has had quite a bit of discussion on this lately.

Yep, surplus FAL mags are the way to go. Just be sure you get metric and not English inch pattern mags for your SAR48.
