How do you Anodize aluminum?
I have been wondering how aluminum is anodized. I would like to know how it's done. Also, could steel be anodized also?
I was told that there is a spray on coating used in cars that "looks" like anodized aluminum, but it's just a paint. Thanks for any responses. ejf |

Check out this site
http://www.focuser.com/atm/anodize/anodize.html Also, some good info sharing at www.parkerizingtanks.com, look for the "anodizing" topic in the forum... You cannot anodize steel, aluminum only (as far as I know)
