Anyone know of any switchblade dealers

Had seen one on the web, but cannot remember where. Is legal for me to buy for LEO and would like to get one for at work.

I recently saw some Chinese made gravity knives for sale at a gun show...

(if the quality wasn't so crappy and made in China I would have gotten one)

Remembering when.

I remember that while stationed in West Germany circa '73-'76 all you had to do was go to the local hardware store and select one and put your money on the counter. Of course the US Army said we couldn't have one; but, that didn't stop anyone. They were very handy as you didn't have to let go of whatever was causing you difficulty to get it open. Those were the days.

Mr. Sal Glesser took care of that for all of us!

I have a Benchmade 7500 Automatic folding knife for sale:

Tanto Plain Blade, Bead Blasted, black aluminum anodized handles

This folder has been discontinued by Benchmade. No scratches or nicks on it. The edge is prefect because it was never used to cut anything. It has never been resharpened.

I am selling it for $165.00 shipped

Go to this url to see pics:

If you are interested email me at [email protected]
I accept payment through money order/cashier's check/paypal.

You might try http://www.theswitchblade.com/

They're a new advertiser in S.W.A.T., but not a new company. I've not done business with them outside S.W.A.T., but the product line includes all the reputable names. As an advertiser, I can say that they paid their first bill immediately upon receipt....that puts them in a valued minority.

If you're looking for a straight up auction site try:

www.bladeauction.com

A lot of dealers (automatic and not) list there and I have had several good experiences with the folks there. (and no bad ones, yet!) YMMV

I do not know where you might find one in your area, but there are some good conversions from the Boker TopLocks. Boker makes a good knife, and the Top Lock, though not maufactured as autos (to my knowledge) are very suited to conversion. These are not tactical knves, but are very practical for general one-handed usage.

One thing that boggles my mind is why auto knives were ever made illegal. Thye are so handy- and there are many "flip-open" knives which are capable of being opened just as quickly as an auto. Funny, I can carry a .45 ACP, but not a push-button knife.

Have had several Microtech's and am very impressed with the quality of the product. With that said, their customer service is abysmal at best.
