300 Win Mag Tripple Shock Loads?

HI
Newbww here. Was just wondering if anybody has loaded these yet.Since Barnes has no data out on them yet,was curious as to what you loaded them to.On their website they say you can go up to as much as 2 grains over max on the reg. barnes X loads.
Thanks

Just watch a rifleman show and they had them on it. These were made for large game, they should expand and stay together. They did not give any load information on these. I have been using the Hornady SST bullet tip's with great results, they expand great and sure put a heck of a exit hole in a deer size animal. I am using 150gr in 30 caliper.

I used to use the same bullet. 150 hornady...Flat as a pancake. Me and the bullet... I used RL 22 pretty darn close to max. I don't recall the data. I got rid of that gun.

Marty, sorry to have taken so long to get back to this thread. Sometimes, life just intrudes, ya know?

Anyway, I have 4 recipes that I have worked out that shoot very well for me.

150gr Sierra Spitzer; 75gr H4831; 3.34" OAL
170gr Speer FN; 82gr compressed H1000; 3.16" OAL
180gr Hornady BTHP; 72.2gr H4831sc; 3.285" OAL
190gr Hornady BTSP; 72.5gr H4831sc; 3.34" OAL

My rifle is a Ruger M77 MKII stainless w/24" chromed bbl. Sighted in at 200yds.

Haven't tried those Barnes bullets, but you should get an idea from the above loads. The first two are excellent mule deer loads and the other two are elk loads.

I have actually trie a few different bullets.Started with Nosler Balistic Tips,165gr and 150gr.They shoot awsome but man do they make a mess

They just don't hold together. From there I went to the origional Barnes X.They shoot good also.Havent made it out to try these new loads yet.Maybe this afternoon(if it stops snowing)
