Primer carriers?

Many new muzzleloaders are using 209 ignition with those little plastic carriers for the caps.
I am considering a couple of different models, all of which use them.
Does anyone have any experience with them?
They say re-useable, but are they really? If so, how many rounds?

Any help would be great. Thanks all.
John
