Lee Enfield No 1 MK3 Value question

It is non matching number. How much does that hurt the value?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I sold an all matching one a few years ago with two bayonets for 175.00. I imagine they're worth a little more now.

Depends if you're buying as a shooter or collector, and what you're asking it to do as a shooter. Non-matching isn't necessarily a guarantee of poor performance, though I agree that all else being equal, all-matching is better.

Overall condition is just as important as matching numbers, and ultimately all the bullet is going to see is the bore.

I've never seen a Lee-Enfield that cheap. Maybe I just live in the wrong place. Is this a No.1 MkIII or a MkIII* (with or without windage and/or magazine cutoff)? What is the year? Where was it made? All these things can have a bearing.

It depends on exactly what it is.
A run of the mill shooter, its going to hurt because most don't want to mess with the headspace/lug engagement thing.
A Lithgow from a low production volume year, not so much its collectable & rare.

Mine was a No.1 MKIII, 1916 BSA.

Is it a sporter or does it have full wood? A sporter can go for 50-150 bucks up here.

Mine was full military with two Wilkinson bayonets and one sheath. Like I said I sold it a couple of years ago.
