Shoulder Pad Needed
Instead of putting a slip-on over all my rifle stocks, I want to use a shoulder pad of some sort. Can anybody recommend a commercially made one or even "home-made"? I have tried towels and foam padding but they really don't work correctly.

Greetings
Check out the Past (brand name) recoil pads at the Brownells.com website. They go over the shoulder and are secured with a strap around the chest. Very effective.

I'd have to add yet another vote for the PAST recoil pads. I've had one for years and sure wish I had bought one sooner!
I don't know what they are made of, but is isn't just squishy foam, in fact it is rather firm. Whatever the material is though it really works well. jpb |
