Lee Auto Disk

I am using Accurate #2 posder wich is very fine. When I satrt loading the Auto Disk works great. After a few rounds the powder gets all over the charge disk and wont let it "reset" to fill back up with powder. I can reach up and push it back with my finger and all is well. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and know if a remedy. Thanks in advance

Yep. Or at least similar issues with very fine ball powders .

I think VERY highly of the Lee scales, but the design just isn't all that great for handing the fine ball powders.

Mine leaks like a freaking sieve with AA 7 and a little less so with 296.

I've tried numerous different things to minimize the leaking, but so far, no true joy.

Are you sure that it is installed right? There is only one way. Be sure the locating pins are in the right groove. Also make sure the spring is attached in the right place.

I updated my Auto Disk. I also filed the down the risers. Now if it leaks at all it isn't even noticeable.

Did you tighten it too much?

I have had the same issue. I too have sanded down the rails. I placed fine sandpaper on the bench and slowly sanded down the rails. really helped with leaking powder.

Is it a Pro or regular auto disk.
If it is a Pro, the little round whitish disk should keep it from leaking, but you need to puff graphite on the base and the top of the disk before you assemble it. And tighten the brass nuts FIRMLY, but not overly tight.
