Tactical Savage MKII F

Latest build using a Savage MKII F. Range time in 2 weeks for test fire.

I bought a 1 inch rail riser and found out the tri rail is too high. I need to buy a 1/2 inch riser to lower it and it should look better when its sits flush to the stock
Paid $70 for the used stock. Bolts on like the AICS WELLS G96 stock.
Was able to slide the action/barrel through the bolt metal housing

I can has, lol.

I've been thinking of doing a similar thing with the same action, I have the scope and bi-pod already picked out, just trying to figure out which stock I want to dress it with.

so anyways how does it shoot?

i just finished the stock last night. im going to shoot it in 2 weeks.

it was in a Barrett M99 stock this past weekend and i was shooting it at 200-300 yards. hard to see where it lands but that was fun.

1/2" scope base came and it looks a lot better now.

perfectly dropped the scope height and rail is closer to the stock

I have a Savage Mark II FV-SR and the factory stock was so craptastic that I had to put it in something else. Went with a Boyds Tacticool stock and I thought I was overdoing it It looks awesome and I bet its tons of fun but whats with the Magpul AFG? Does that really do anything on a .22 other than add weight to the front?
