bead blast
Hi I was trying to match the beadblast on my S&W 945-40.I tried
glassbeads at 55 lbs on my sigma slide (I found a use for that gun) and it turned out with a finer finish then the factory. It looked about like a kahr mk9 finish. I want to stay away from the the numbers on the slide on the 945 I just tying to get some small marks out. Is there any different blasting media that would be a closer match? Thankyou,Scott |

Have used the equiv. of glass beads that they use is traffic paint to make it reflective. You could also try altering the pressure behind the beads, that is how I change my texture pattern.

Try a municipal supply company. The supply company that selld paint and such to a local govt should have them. Should be cheaper by the Lb than regular glass beads.
