stevens double barrel

ok i will try this again, i have an old double barrel shotgun (stevens) i have looked for all the proof mark in front of the trigger gaurd and it does not it does however have L J and an circled A in the break of the shot gun. i have been wondering what if any this gun is worth and how old it is.

You may want to post down on Harley's forum, there's a few folks there into old doubles.

Stevens was a pioneer, making breechloading shotguns in the 1880s. Not that much collector interest, near new condition hammer guns here bring less than $500.
