Miroku ultra hi

Anyone have any info on these.. It is a percussion .45 cal rifle... Looks to have been a kit with the split stock.

good

bad

or ugly.. any info welcome..

I think the Ultra hi was sold by Sears back in the 70's. Miroku overall has a good reputation, they made shotguns for Browning, might still. Couldn't tell you much else though

Miroku can make quality guns. Ultra Hi sold crap. Miroku made guns for Ultra Hi using their specs.

Miroku is making the new issue Winchester lever action rifles for Winchester. You can spot these from a distance because the trigger goes way forward when uncocked. This is part of the hammer block safety that these guns have instead of a half cock, sort of like the Ruger single action revolvers of late.
I have a Winchester/Miroku 1885 Low Wall in .22 wong wifle. The rifle is an absolute jewel, excellent quality.
