M-39 Range report

Took the new M-39 out to the family gravel pit; laser ranged 100 yards; set up shop and got down to some shooting. It shot 180 grain Sellier and Bellot eh, okay. It shot the 203 grain Silver Bear stuff eh, okay. Then I loaded up 3 180 grain Wolf gold rounds. WOW! I think this stuff is actually made for Wolf by Prvi Partizan. I have a k-98 mauser that shoots 196 grain Prvi stuff very good as well. And for a modern non-corrosive soft point bullet that could be used for hunting it is pretty economically priced as well. This M-39 definately shoots high (point of aim was actually about six inches under the holes you see) but I have ordered a tall replacement M-39 front sight from T-gun parts. Hopefully I can get it hitting closer to POA. Anyway results with the Wolf Gold/Prvi stuff below.

100 yards, open sights. Ahh, I think I can live with these results.
