Uberti - Pietta 58 Rem. barrels

Does anyone know if a barrel from a Uberti 58 remington would screw into a Pietta 58 remington frame? Just curious.

hmmm....it may, check the thread pitch/type. This ASM barrel threads into this Pietta (?) frame I have, but to fully install the barrel, will need a padded vice and action wrench.

I had a brass frame 1858 Remington that I was messing around with. I tried to unscrew the barrel and ended up messing the whole gun up. I sold it part by part on e-bay...made my money back.
