hub for moving targets
This hub is cheap and easy to construct out of readily available parts.
You can use it to construct stars, swingers...whatever devious moving targets you can concoct. Here's what you need: A: 1 PVC tee, 1 1/2" ID B: 2x PVC adapters, 1 1/2"OD-1 1/2"ID Sch 40 C: 2x PVC adapters, 1/2"ID-1/2"OD Sch 40 D: 1 10"x 1/2" coarse carriage bolt E: 2x Front outside wheel bearings for an '84 Camaro F: 1 1/2" coarse locknut G: 2x 1/2" washers Price: $25

Step 1:
Press the races into the threaded sides of "B", wide end outward. One installed, one not. Using a c-clamp to press in a race. You can also use a hammer & 2x4 on concrete.

Voila. Takes about 20 minutes to assemble.
This one could be bolted to a plywood disc for a Texas star hub, or maybe a target holder & counterweight for a swinger. The extra end of the tee is there to attach to a framework made from 1 1/2" PVC. I'm going to build a star out of this one.

I'd like to see it with a target attached.

I just built the hub today. Here's an example of a star in use, mine will employ water balloons instead of steel.
