Has anyone out there tried Pachmayr "Pac-Skin"? It is a rubber stick-on non-slip surface that will give a stock cheek-piece or
any surface the same type of non-slip cushioned feel of a Pachmayr or Hogue grip.. Quite inexpensive ($10.00 ) and probably worth a try... Anyone? Ben |

I tried the stuff on a Ruger 10/22T because the stock was too smooth for me. The Pac-skin was a little too thick for my taste. I could feel the edges when I grasped the rifle, especially the pistol grip area. The actual surface is pretty nice and they stick really well - just a bit too thick in my opinion.

I have the PacSkin cheekpiece installed on my Bushmaster Shorty carbine. I love it. I only shoot scoped, and it's pretty comfortable for scoped use.
I bought a kit to put on my Rem. Varmint Synthetic. Wouldn't stick to that HS stock. ------------------ Shoot to kill; they'll stop when they're dead! |
