Anyone have any suggestions for places to buy the Hornady custom grade 3 piece die sets? Im looking for taper crimp sets for 9mm and 40s&w/10mm. Ive looked all over the web but everyone seems to be out of stock. Only place Ive found the 40 set is ebay, and im a little learly about that.

Good luck on that one. I checked about 15 places and all were out of stock or on back order. I finally had to buy them from a local store here in Arkansas.

In stock at MidwayUSA Midway link.

Your choice, but I much prefer the Lee carbide 4 die set. I'm not tied to Lee, I buy the dies that work best for me. I use Redding body dies for sizing rifle brass shoulders, but for pistol I find the Lee carbide dies work better than anyones.

Darn, just sold three pistol die sets that were Hornady. If no one has them I wished I would have charged more now.

Cabelas also has them. Remember you get 100 free bullets on a new purchase.

taper crimp sets for 9mm and 40s&w/10mm

I phoned Hornady to find out why you could not buy sets of their dies in TAPER CRIMP. They told me to buy the Taper Crimp Die extra.

A trick I learned back in the 70's when I bought dies for my 45APC.
Buy a steel sizer die and remove the decaping stim, readjust it and
you have a taper crimp die.
