Sentry safe sealed!

I bought a 14 gun sentry safe a while back and noticed with the door closed there is a slight air gap present. I ran some 1/4" wide weather stripping around the outside lip of the safe and now the door seals up nicely

I re-charged my silica pack in the oven so now I can see if it takes longer to saturate. I'm thinking it should be much more efficient now. Anyone else try this?

I thought about it once, but haven't sealed my safes and cabinets because I use GoldenRods and they require a door gap (or top and bottom holes) to maintain the air circulation needed for them to work.
