TOW Bucks County Rifle Kit Update #17
Sorry for the delay. I've been completely tied up writing magazine articles for the last couple of months. But I finally carved out some time to work on the rifle.
In this update I install the trigger guard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iptTSVxjgI |

I had an old incomplete hawkens kit handed down to me by my grandfather. I have the stock, trigger/trigger guard, most of the action assembly, and the barrel. Am I looking at a good chunk of money to find a reproduction rod and various inlays it came with? I have the side plate with the hammer but being new to bp im unsure of how much is missing.

I earn about 90% of my living building muzzleloaders.
If you'd like to talk I may be of some help to you, and if you don't need any tips we'd still have fun talking about making front stuffers. PM me if you want to 'jaw' for a while. |
