Yes You CAN Teach Old Dog

I hate to say this, But yes you can teach a old dog. I have been using WD-40
on all my Black Powder guns for 50 years. I have never had any problem of any kind. Never any rust. Well lately I have been reading about this super lube
and I thought I would give it a try. Only cost 3.00 a quart. Thats enough for
a lifetime. Well I pulled the cyclinder pin on my 700.00 1858 Rem .36 and put a little on it. Put it back in and gave a spin. Let me tell you that cyclinder didn't stop for 5 min. Never seen anything like it. It just sat there and spun.
The only thing I don't like about it, is the smell. Well I didn't like the wife's new perfume either but I got used to it. I'm going to put a little on a patch and wipe down my guns. This stuff might be all right. Oh the name, it's just
common ATF transmission fluid. Give it a try, you might learn something new
also. I would use it very very sparing inside of the barrels.

I have heard that too. Me thinks I misunderstood you on your value of Remis. Sounds like you have real Remis, not repros. Repros far under $700. My bad

I would say none inside barrels or chambers. Let us know how it holds up under actual firing and how easy it is to clean after getting fouled.

A few years back, I made the mistake of putting some of this on the outside of one of my shotguns and had one heck of a time holding on to it. No, I'm not spinning not yarn, at least not this time ....

Be Safe !!!
