Summer Special P226 vs P229
Has anyone tried using their P226 in a Milt Sparks Summer special 2 made for a P229?
I ask because there is a P229 railed version at brownells, but it looks like a P226 railed version would require the 16-22 week wait. |

My advice... buy a holster to fit YOUR gun.

Have you actually contacted Brownells to verify the lead time? Often distributors will have blanket orders that do not require the standard manufacture’s lead time, so they may actually get some in a lot faster.

nah it was more that they don't appear to even sell the P226R version (only P226 and P229R).
The long wait was just ordering it through Milt Sparks. Sixers' advice is probably the right move. |
