Hornady XTP Data Load Data for 45 ACP?

I am thinking of trying out the Hornady XTP 185 gr HP. I have IMR 700X and Unique powder on-hand. I haven't been able to find any load data for the above bullet/powder(s) combination. I will be using CCI primers. Can anyone help me out with a starting load?

Here is some .45 ACP (Hornady Jacketed Bullets Data) Reloading Data from LoadData.com:

185 Hornady jacketed HP Alliant Unique 6.1 600fps
185 Hornady jacketed HP Alliant Unique 6.3 650fps
185 Hornady jacketed HP Alliant Unique 6.6 700fps
185 Hornady jacketed HP Alliant Unique 6.8 750fps
185 Hornady jacketed HP Alliant Unique 7.1 800fps
185 Hornady jacketed HP Alliant Unique 7.3 850fps
185 Hornady jacketed HP Alliant Unique 7.6 900fps
185 Hornady jacketed HP Alliant Unique 7.8 950fps

and

185 jacketed HP Alliant Unique 8.2 1,030fps
*Remarks: min. OAL (inches): 1.275; 18,900 psi

Somewhere in there you should find a comfortable starting load for what you're trying to accomplish. I'd personally start around 6.5-7.0 Unique and go from there until I got where I wanted to be.

My best results with 185gr bullets and 700-X are:

185gr Golden sabers 4.9gr 700-X OAL 1.245"
185gr Ranier Plated flatnose 4.6gr 700-X OAL 1.245"

I don't have any Chrono Data for those loads, but they shoot nice groups out of my Springer 1911-A1 G.I. Model

My Hornady manual has data for #45100 185 XTP/HP but no 700X or Unique listed
The COL for the data listed by Hornady for that bullet is 1.230"
The Hodgdon's web data shows a Hornady 185gr JSWC with the COL of 1.195 I would assume that bullet is a Hornady #4513 my Hornady manual has the COL at 1.194" with that bullet.
With the Hornady #45100 bullet I would load a dummy round at the 1.230" COL and see if it head spaces properly in your barrel, if it does I would start with 7.0gr of Unique and work up but stay below 8.0gr. For 700X I've only tried it for .38spl and .44spl so good luck with that, I think 700X would be worth pursuing.

In my experiances the 700X powder is just a little hotter than the unique. You can start with 5.5gr 700X. The speer manual lists a 185gr GD-HP which would be comprable to the XTP. The starting load is 5.8gr 700X max is 6.5gr. I don`t think you would need to go to the max. COL is 1.200. I only make 3 test rounds before committing to a large batch.

Thanks for all the suggestions and load data. I got my hands on the lyman 49th addition and they have the recipe for both powders. It looks like they are a bit on the conservative side with their starting loads.
185gr Hornady HP XTP
700x powder
Start Grain 3.5
Max 5.5
1.175 OAL

185 Grain HP XTP
Unique Powder
Start Grains: 4.8
max: 7.8
1.175 OAL

Primers used Remington 2 1/2 and CCI 300
The above loads are directly out of the lyman 49th addition.
