Well, I shot with the inexpensive Bushnell 4x32 scope from Walmart. Besides having difficulty with the rings coming loose/scope walking, I had to do an inordinate amount of windage adjustment to the right but I still missed targets at 50 yards. Will give it another try today, but I've also decided to go with the following:

Want to get in closer as I'll be shooting a lot @100 yds. and also want the AO.

Did you read about the Leapers rings? They solve the slideback issue. I shoot 3000 rounds a year with two Marlin 60's.
