30-30 bullets/ 30 rem bullets
Anyone know where I can find 30/30 170 grain round nosed bullets? How about 30 Remington? Someone told me I can use the 30/30 round nose in 30 rem. I have both rifles if it is true it would make things easy. Thanks for any info

You mean loaded rounds or just the projectile tips?

30-30 & 30 Rem Bullets
Both take a .308" diameter bullet. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/898...ose-box-of-100 And another http://www.midwayusa.com/product/261...nose-box-of-50 Note that the Nosler is only 50 bullets to the box.

These particular lever gun bullets have been very difficult to find for the past 6 months. I managed to find some on GunBroker. Manufacturers have not quit making them, just busy with more popular bullets, When they become available again, I would stock up.

If you're looking for lead, try
www.missouribullet.com www.pennbullets.com Various weights, mostly flat nose design but all would work well in 30-30 lever gun. |

If you are buying lead, don't bother with .308"...
Minimum of .309", and if you are shooting micro-groove rifling, I'd start at .310" and go up from there... |
