Universal carbine parts???

The block on the end of the slide rod has seperated from the slide. My very competent gunsmith and I have been looking for a new or used slide with no luck. Welding may present a whole new set of problems with alignment, etc.

Universal web is not much help.

Any idea where I can find a new source of replacement parts?

As I get older I find hitting a mini ram at 200 yards with the 22 oddly more satisfying.
