Taylor's Remington Cartridge Conversion in .44-40
I was having a little fun with my Remington cartridge conversion. I got one in .44-40, though I'm sure that .38 Spl and .45 Colt are more popular chamberings.
The only change I made to this gun was to have a gunsmith cut back the cylinder to remove the countersunk cartridge heads from the chambers, so the cartridge heads would be visible at the loading table. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPL5Xk7x5j4 |

The Remington was, and still is, a fine platform on which to build a cartridge conversion.
Maybe we'll see you in Thurmont, MD this weekend, Mike, for the SASS NE Regional? Last edited by Indian Outlaw; September 29, 2013 at 04:37 PM. |
