fastest MG in the world: Dwyer
Has anyone heard if the gun system called Metal Storm invented by Dwyeris ever going to be availabe for market? Also I wonder (and not sure if this is the right place to post this) if the ATF has any rulings on whether or not the multishot Metal Storm is a machine gun? Or the same as a shotgun?
Just in case I got the inventor's name and the systems name wrong it is the gun system where one version could shoot at a million rounds a minute (if there were a million rounds available) and uses no cartridge for the bullets. |

Do a site search on Metal Storm.
You'll find tons of threads on it.

Metal Storm was I undestand developed by an Australian who has since moved to the US. The company product is proving attractive to the US military.
Essentially it involves a large number of projectiles being fired at the same time from a large number of barrels giving an awsome rate of fire. Have not heard much more about it for a year or so. |
