.35 Remington/Model 81
I have load data for 200 grain bullets. Does anybody have data on a .358 Dia 250 grain bullet for use in a Remington Model 81 rifle (1937 manufacture/pristine condition)
Thanks.

Cast bullets should work fine in your Mod. 81 Rem. . The .35 Rem. really doesn't have the oomph to fire 250 Gr. bullets very far or fast and aren't a good choice for the .35 Rem. They would have the trajectory of a 5 year old throwing a Medicine Ball . Speer makes a 220 Gr. FP that's a much better choice for a heavy bullet in the .35 Rem. , works great in my .358 Win. . The 200 Gr. has been getting it done in the .35 Rem. since 1906 !
