Can the safety on a Benelli M3 shotgun be altered so it can be activated by a left handed shooter with his trigger finger? I've heard of similiar modifications on Remingtons but I don't know if it can be done on an M3.

In case anyone was curious, I watched a gun smith do this modification today. It doesn't require a new part as some shotguns do. The safety just has to be flipped around.

Huh. As much as I like Benellis I had never looked into whether this was capable of being done or not since I'm comfortable with the way the safety is out if the box and never really needed to know. Thanks for the info.
