I have a new digital camera and I'd like to post some images to TFL, but I don't want to bog down the system. Will posting pictures cause a problem?
These would be 640x480 JPEGs from a Sony Mavica. |

Large amounts of graphics are hell on bandwidth. We'd prefer that you post simple links to them on TFL.
If, OTOH, the graphics are relatively small in file size, limited in number and pertinent to the post, go for it. Use your own best judgement. Rich |

Use your own discretion.
Try to be mindful that images are a system resource hog. They do count toward a thread’s size and load time. If you can post a link to the photo instead of the actual picture, that will help to keep TFL running fast for everyone. |
