I would like to try some Varget powder for .223 and would like some load specs. I am loading for AR15 HBAR 1in7 20" using 69gr HPBT and 80gr HPBT. THANX!

I've used Varget for .223, mostly for lighter bullets such as Hornady's 50 grain V-MAX. Had to go to the Lee manual to find loads for heavier bullets, Hornady, Nosler, and Hodgdon's basic data manual don't have them. This is what Lee lists:

69 grain jacketed
start- 24.1
max- 25.5
vel. of max load- 2993 fps
pressure- 47700 CUP
min OAL - 2.200

80 grain jacketed
start- 21.9
max- 25.0
vel.of max load- 2869fps
pressure- 51500 CUP
min OAL- 2.200

hope this helps,
