Colt SAA action job in So Cal?
Anybody have a suggestion for a good gunsmith in the So Cal (San Diego-LA) area? Love to send it off to PS but can't afford that now. Just a good basic action job and cutting the forcing cone to 11 degrees is all I need for now.
Heard that Nutmeg Sports does a fine job..any experience with them? Just a bit out of So Cal but for $200.00 might be worth it? Thanks Trace--

Not many any more most of them only do 1911's & Glocks.
Might give Duncan's a call. Used to be a guy in Chula Vista that was good but he retired years ago. |

I do have the names and phone numbers of the CAS match directors from South Bay Rod and gun club they may be able to point you to somebody local that they have used,

Nutmeg Sports is very well-reputed. If I remember right its proprietor is a former long-time Colt employee. He knows the SAA inside and out.

Colt action job
Thanks, as soon as my .45 family member gets back from Colt, I plan on giving it a hot homecoming. Then off to Nutmeg for an action job and forcing cone cut.
Thanks to all. Trace-
