New Look for a sythetic 10-22 stock
Got a new folder for my 10/22 in black. Am going to paint it camo, and am wondering if there is a special paint or over coat I need to use to make it stay. I'm not going to send it to someone and pay them to do it for me. I do have the tools to powder coat, if that is the best way to go. I just don't have the oven to bake it in, so a long time running a heat gun is not my idea of a good time. Any and all comments (even those who tell me to send it off--which I repeat I am not going to do--are appreciated.)

I suggest Duracoat. They have a new aerosol shake and spray kit, which you don't need an airbrush to apply.
http://duracoat-firearm-finishes.com/ Simple proceedure, just follow the instructions and your good to go. I've used Duracoat on a few guns with great results, and even used it on custom motorcycle projects, knives, and Jeep parts. I've very durable stuff and stands up to any cleaning products I've used.
