Carry cut Coonan .357
just thought I'd show you guys what I've been up to. i liked the WilsonCombat Centennial so much, i decided to cut my Coonan.
I'm also mid- dehorn job, and trying to figure out how to bobtail it. after that, its on to custom grips and mouting my Trijicon RMR! and before anyone says it, i left 2/1000ths on the frame to give me room to round it and match the angle on the slide. hope you guys like it. |

First the P-series Wilson, now the P-series Coonan?
Bill W. and you are both offering a great tribute to William Ruger Sr.

Very nice work - how does it run with the loss of that weight?

no clue. waiting for new sights to come in before i even bother to go shoot it again. i have a whole slew of things im doing, mostly cosmetic, but a few tunes here and there, had to polish the crap out of my feed ramp, tuned my mag release, the factory sights were crooked, so i ordered an RMR, and now i have to fiddle with my trigger, it seems as if somehow, by magic, the pin that holds the trigger in, it no longer tight, and just flops all over the place... lol. this gun has certainly been an adventure, but im determined to make this $1300 as nice as a $4000 wilson!
