Tetra Gun Grease - Where do you get it

For you guys that use this,

Where do you get it?

For 1 oz., how much are you paying (cost & shipping)

It's hard to find in the St. Louis area.

Thanks

Where are you in St. Louis?

If you are anywhere near St. Charles / St. Peters, Gateway Outfitters just off the Cave Springs exit on I-70 shows that they have it on their website.

http://www.gatewayoutfitters.com/sho...oducts_id=9336

Their number is 636-916-0242 so you might want to call before going out there.

Hope this helps!

You can got to any hardware or car parts store in the nation and buy white lithium grease by the pound and have a nearly lifetime supply of pretty much the same stuff.

Midway

tacking it on to an existing order is the way to do it.
But if I'm only getting the tetra that 1 oz is going to cost me $12

Hi Scott,

I actually stopped in at Gateway on Tuesday. I asked the guys back at the counter and they acted like they had never carried it.

I haven't actually bought any in awhile. A little of the stuff goes a long way. I think my last tube I bought at Gander Mountain when I was there buying something else.

Tetra gun grease is great stuff and the only grease I will use on my semi-autos. It is not "the same" as white lithium grease, in fact white lithium grease isn't even close in performance to Tetra.

I order mine from Midway and just get a couple tubes at a time. A little of it goes a long way and a couple tubes will last me a long time.

Sorry to hear that Bob. Maybe a phone call would be in order before trekking back into "civilization"! I am out in your area quite often since I enjoy going to the range at Busch Wildlife. Say what you want about their overly-tight control of the range, but I have been out to Reifsnider and Logan which are unmanned - no thanks! The one thing I have never heard while at Busch is the sound of gunfire while I am downrange changing targets!

And I guess you checked at New Melle Gun Shop??

I found my last supply at my local purveyor of fine firearms. Prior to that, I picked up a tube of Tetra products at a local gun show, promptly gave it away to a new shooter to get them started. I enjoy being a bad influence.
