Walther P99AS @ Bud's
http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/m...84617/redirect
These are not often available. Good price, free shipping. I have the compact version in .40 and I really like it. Typical Walther great trigger. I would put it on a par with HK P2000SK quality wise but with a nicer trigger. |

Careful with me..Last time someone posted something like that asking if it was a good price, I bought it in an instant. Lucky it's a Walther and a .40S&W. Be careful next time.

Yea....pretty sure she would be upset. And she's a pretty good shot herself....
But that Walther does intrigue me...... Think of the collection of toys we would have to choose from |

That's a spectacular price for an incredible pistol. It doesn't seem like all that long ago, these were hard to find these for much under $800.
Sounds like all of Walther's recent LE wins over in Europe may be bringing down the price for the civilian pistol sales? |

Good for TR..That's my previous girlfriends have seen them. Normal black guns. Just one SS Colt in the bunch. lol. My cousin has a Walther something that looks like the one in the picture in .40 she hates it. I'll see if she wants to sell it actually. |

one way to win approval for a new pistol is to:
1. Destroy everything in your living room as if a group of bad men have trashed the place (except TV). Make sure that you destroy her favorite item in the room. 2. Then say to wife when she arrive from work, imagine if this happened while we were at home, don't you think we need a new Walther P99 AS + extra magazines + holster + ammo for practice. You may even get approval for advance defense classes. Destruction of her favorite item may give you approval for a carbine, too. |

That would be a fantastic idea, difficult. But fantastic. "Advanced defense classes" is another perfect one. Everyone needs that some time. |

Though to be of actual help, Christmas is around the corner. Might be able to work it from that angle.

Arrgh, I really do want one of these but I'm just not sure it would see enough range time, and I don't want it to just sit in the safe like too many other of my handguns already do.
