NuFinish and used dryer sheets

I picked up this tip from the forum and have had nothing but great results. Use one sheet cut up into about 4 pieces and after the brass is tumbling use about a cap worth of NuFinish.

Shiny brass

rolyasm, those who suggested the nufinish were correct. Cleaned up the brass like champ.

As to cleaning the red dust off, I just ran the brass through the cleaner twice using a whole bunch of dryer sheets and lizard bedding. I highly suggest *not* using paper towels, they shred, and get stuck all over. I had to scour them out of the cleaner, no fun!

So would the red powder be detrimental if I just left it on? Not saying I will, just wondering what might happen if I didn't clean the red powder off of them. I have already started cleaning the insides with a little rolled up paper. Works okay. I will run them through the tumbler with some different medium as well.
