SIMPLE QUESTION:
On the Lee 4 die pistol sets 38/357 are same die set, correct? |

yep, the difference is how far down you screw the dies.
357 is 1/10" longer than .38 spl. that is the only difference in the case dimensions. Most folks I know shoot more 38spl in their 357s than they do 357 |

If you plan on loading both and want to use the same dies you need to get the .38 Special dies is what Lee told me. The "Factory Crimp" die is the same but apparently you can't load .38s with the .357 dies.

Correct--buy the .38 Special Deluxe 4-die set and you are in business for .357 mag. too.

You can usually back out the 38s enough for the 357, but you cant always screw down the 357 enough for the 38s.

I have been using RCBS 357/38 dies for years on both, just buy the 38 Lee crimp die and you are in business
