Hi Harley,
Sitting in my closet, I have a single shot Remington Model 510 Target Master, chambered for .22 Short, Long or Long Rifle. The barrel markings consist of the above information along with: Remington Arms Co. Inc. Ilion N.Y. Made in USA, Patent Numbers 1,908,035-1,913,840-2,356,257 Also, on the left side of the barrel, just forward of the receiver is RH 47. I could not locate any type of serial number on the receiver. It appears to have a stainless bolt and trigger and stained hardwood stock with a plastic black buttplate, marked Remington. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks! |

FALgnnr:
The only thing I can find on that model is that Remington produced a variety of single shot and repeating .22 Caliber rifles. In this particular rifle, 510, there were several models with varing minor changes. The major difference was a smooth bore that was used w/shot, (rat shot) Mfg years was from 1939-1962 Value about $175.00 HJN [This message has been edited by Harley Nolden (edited November 29, 1999).] [This message has been edited by Harley Nolden (edited November 29, 1999).] |
