Thanks for the video.
It answers an important question I've been pondering. How to empty the gas tank of an old car without risking a fire. From your video, it's obvious I can just shoot a hole in the tank.

Even if you had shot with the tip of the barrel in the water, it wouldn't have helped.
Water really amplifies sound. Remember those old Jacques Cousteau shows where they used a shotgun as an signal gun to recall the divers?

How about all those old war movies where a trusty Zippo stops a rifle bullet.
Or western movies where the sheriffs badge or a whiskey flask stops a .44. Magic. That's the kind of protection I want.

Tree huggers around the world will hate you. Looks like good firewood for next year.

Verry interesting.
Thanks for the comparison. Maybe airguns are meant to use the pellets they were probably designed for in the first place? Are the heavier bullets available in optional diameters to maybe better fit the barrel?

Sp,
Did you know that Lewis and Clark used an air rifle on their expedition? I bet they would be amazed at the technology today. Keep the videos coming.

Austrian snipers also used air rifles against Napoleon's army.
No black powder smoke to reveal their location. Airguns back then had air tanks in the stocks??

Surprisingly, we just got our internet service back after three days.
The home made suppressors test was quite a surprise also. I didn't expect they would work so well - at least once. I've tested shotgun rifle chokes and barrels and found they can indeed help, depending on the choice of slugs. The hard part, at least with 12 gauge is tolerating the recoil long enough for a meaningful test session. Thanks again for some more interesting and informative videos.

Another surprising result.
Good thing I didn't have a bet on it. I would have lost. Looking forward to your next one.
