Custom leather for .44 Auto Mag?
Does anyone know of a holster maker who owns or has access to a .44 Auto Mag? I`d really love to get a nice belt holster for my baby, maybe with a little tooling or exotic leather trim but I`d rather not ship it somewhere and possibly have it damaged or lost. Marcus

Marcus:
Here's a few holsters I've done, a couple with tooling, a couple with exotic skins: Shark: Stingray: Matt Del Fatti also does tooling on his holsters. His website is: http://www.delfatti.com/ |

Nice work! I especially like the shark skin trim. Maybe something like that in really dark burgundy leather with black shark trim? I`m assuming the .44 Auto Mag you have or have access to is a 6.5" barrel? That would work out perfectly. What`s your lead time like? Marcus

Thanks for the kind words, Marcus. I can do a dark burgundy with black shark. Send me an email at: leathercraft - at - hotmail.com and we can discuss details.

K-Man has run into a little snag finding an Auto Mag to use for the holster. So at his suggestion I`m still looking for a holster maker that`ll tackle a holster for this beautiful beast.
Even if K-Man doesn`t find an Auto Mag I have a feeling I`ll still be ordering a holster or two in the future for some of my less exotic guns that still deserve a really nice new holster! Marcus |
