Opening up the Chambers ? Pietta 1858
I have a new Pietta 1858 Revolver
Chambers are a tad under sized, .450 I would like to open them up to .451 - .452 What procedure do you recommend, no I don't want my Smith to do it, I want to do it. Thanks

Search under "reamer" and you'll find several folks who are annoyed with the tiny pietta 1858 chamber dimensions. They should have bored them out to bore diameter or .001" over, so owners could use larger .454" balls and still match the bore diameter. |
