Yeah. The Walmart near me had a clearance on Remington 100rd ct 125gr .357 mag for $30 a box. Picked up 3 boxes.

Perfecta is made for Wal- Mart by Fiocchi.
If they are getting out of ammo. its not because of sales. Shelves empty as fast as it comes in. Esp the Perfecta cant hardly beat $10 9mm ammo.
Buy it when I see it always.
But I buy lots of Fiocchi too.

Wait around at Walmart at 0600 with the retired ammo flippers? Wow, what a classy retirement project those guys have.

No thanks. You guys enjoy the shopping.

I saw those at my local Walmart too. I don't even have a .357 right now and I still picked up a box.

Not so lucky here on the left coast. We don't have the 250 ct boxes but 200 ct WWB 40 cal and it's $56 (recent price drop from $67).
Still a good deal out here so I picked up the last two for my new carbine (I'm joining the Kalyforrnya RAW club) and my daughters new Sig.
There were totally sold out on the 9mm Perfecta ammo...

Being retired for 6 years now I can say that it's important to save every penny. I buy factory ammo for long term storage and handload everything else I need and even $3 less a box helps the bottom line.
But definitely NOT at 6am!

Who said anything about waiting around at 6:00 am? I walked in at 7:30 pm, bought a 250 round mega pack of .45 acp for $45 and left. So, enjoy paying $90-$100 for the same thing everywhere else.

Must be a local thing for you. We had the same thing here after the '08 election and the Sandy Hook shooting (made worse by the '12 reelection). The last run took a long time to settle. There are still a few gun shop smurfs who have the local Walmart's ammo stock schedule memorized, but they're usually only after .22lr these days. They will buy cheap 9mm and .223, but the supply has caught up and the gun shop smurfs are fewer in number so there's a good bit of that actually sits on the shelf a day or two.
