C&B rig Question

Can someone let me know how a rig was setup when a c&b pistol was carried?

Depends on the revolver. Remingtons have belts with pouches big enough to hold extra cylinders that are preloaded and have caps. You pull out an empty cylinder and replace it while in combat. One belt I saw had two individual pouches for cylinders.

Dixie Gun Works sells Cap and Ball belts with a big pouch that has many internal pockets for keeping all your tools and shooting supplies seperated.

Quote:
The accoutrement pouch is conveniently designed with two upper pockets for nipple wrench and wads, an four lower pockets for flask, balls, caps and miscellaneous tools.

Thanks for the picture. I've been searching the net for a rig that was setup for blackpowder and was searching for historical pics as well but I could only find rigs that had loops for cartridges.
