Benelli Nova light?

Hello everyone, great forum here just spent about 4 hours reading posts. I just picked up my first shotgun, Benelli Nova, and I would like to add a light to it. I was hoping to get a surefire but I dont believe they make one. Any advice as to the next best option? I know a bit about flashlights, checkout candlepower forums if you ever have a flashlight question but I do not know much about attaching one to my gun. Thanks in advance for your help. Brian

A role of duct tape? Just kidding I have never seen any thing like that for a Nova but then again I have never been looking for it either. Good Luck on your search.

Here is a link to an adapter that lets you put a light on one. http://www.opticsplanet.net/streamli...unt-69908.html

I don't know any thing about it since I just did a quick internet search for shot gun light and wound up there.

If your shotgun doesn't have a rail (Picattiny or Weaver) you should attach one to the side of the Forearm (like I did to my Reminton 1100 in this post about the Slarforce L-2 flashlight)
link.

The Picattiny rails ara available from Bravo Company and Cheaper Than Dirt.com. you should attach them with screws and poxi glass.

Or use a Weaver rail such as the one for the Marlin 336 rifle.

After that any Weaver or Weaver style ring will fit in the Surefire body or equivalent (such as the Solarforce light)

Remote pressure tape switch can be found at Cheaper than Dirt (AIMSHOT remote switch).

Other mount are available. here is one that permits you to move the light laterally.

Here is a picture of my 1100 with light installed

Cheaper Than Dirt also sells a UTG mount that attach to the barrel, it have 3 sides Picattiny rails so laser and more can be attached.

Cheers

I've been trying to answer the same question. I haven't actually tried this myself, but I think this is going to be the solution I end up going with.
