Try http://www.oncefiredbrass.com/
& http://www.nationalbullet.com/
They are both pretty good for prices. IMHO!

Hello, and thanks for the info Steve. In the
meantime, someone e-mailed me to check out
Scharch Manufacturing Inc. of Salida, CO.
Seems that they have the best price of all.
Guess, I will place an order with them on
Monday, 02-21-00. Many thanks again,

Best Wishes,

Check with your local police. Many departments just throw the brass away.

Just pay your range fee if you're not a member, shoot some, and sweep it all up. My range lets me sweep it up because workers would rather sell than sweep.

Most other shooters will let you have their once shot brass if you ask them too. I shoot with a lot of yuppies who think their time is too valuable to reloading or just are scared of the idea. They love to give me their brass.

Just offer to keep the area clean and most of is yours. I think I'm at about 4,000 cases of 9mm and 3,000 cases of 45 acp all for free! And almost all of it was only shot once before I swept it up.

Keep your reloading costs low this way!!!!!

Brass is expensive.

My take -

Ditto jtduncan's comments. My local indoor range lets me take what I want. They even go so far as to put me a couple of stalls away from the wall when not too busy, so I don't have to walk too far when chasing brass.

I've also had the same experience with a lot of neighbor shooters. Many of them show up with a brand new box of American Eagle or the like, and ignore the brass on the ground around them. I ask nicely and almost all tell me to just take what I want. I even have a couple of folks so well-trained, that they sweep their brass into a pile for me!

Check out the classified ads in Shotgun News. They are on-line at www.shotgunnews.com. I buy all of my 9mm (Federal) once fired through the advertisers and have had really good luck. Hope this helps, Mikey.
