Walther Night Force Laser / Light Combo

Anyone with any first hand experience with this laser/light? It is available on Sportsman's Guide -

http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/c....aspx?a=542353

Thought about putting this combo on one of my home defense pistols. It won't see a lot of use, just enough to practice with it to feel comfortable with it.

No experience with it but I can tell you that I dont think its made by Walthers. I've been a Walthers fan for a long time and own a few of their handguns and some of their accessories, Walthers dont sell anything at, lets say bargain prices. I think thats really made for a air gun. I dont see any Lumens or watts ratings and no ratings on the laser.

It is for an air pistol. Actually says so on the packaging.

Do not use it on a real firearm. I'm not even sure that it will hold zero on a 22LR pistol. I had one and it slide off the rail without depressing the release. The light is about 15 lumens.

Save your money and get a Streamlight TLR-2 especially if it will be on your HD pistol.

Well - that's why I posted the question. I had that sneakin feelin that this thing wasn't all the "marketing" might seem. I'm thinkin I'll pass on it and go for something different.

Side note: New to TFL and really like all the participation. I was on the internet back in the early 1990's when things were just getting cranked up and I really can't think of a forum style site like this that is as helpful to the subscriber as this one is.

I'm looking forward to spending more time here.

Thanks guys...
