Effective Distance

I was wondering what people might know about the effective range in a 9mm carbine. I got my RedDot on my Storm to give me a 4rnd grp in about 1-1/2 in. @ 50yrds. Two almost on top of eachother. How much tighter can I really get and how well should I be able to @ 100yrds?

3-4" at 100 yds.

If you are talking about careful shooting from a sandbagged bench. If you are zeroes at 50 yds, expect to be 4-5" low with your shots at 100 yds. At 150 yds, you can aim at the top of the head, hit the guts on a man target, with same 50 yd sight zero.

Load Numbers?

Also, what weight bullet are you shooting out of that thing? 115gr stuff will drop around 5" at 45m, while 124gr stuff will drop that at about 35m. (That's out of a standard pistol barrel.)
