Base for a Marlin 1894 44mag
Will a Leupold 1pc base for a Marlin 336 fit a Marlin 1894 44mag carbine?

Easy way to check is at the online mail order houses.
See if the part numbers for the 336 mounts and the '94 mounts are the same.

The Weaver base will allow you to use the iron sights with the scope removed. The Leupold base blocks the iron sights completely. If your scope breaks, your shooting day is over.
Last week, I replaced a Leupold base and rings with Weavers on my Marlin 1895 for that very reason. |
